The Best Summer Playlist -50 Summer Songs

Image
I love, love, love music! Have you ever had a playlist, song, album, or band/singer that just reminded you of a time, place, or memory? For example, I once went on vacation and the only songs I listened to were these two albums by this band. So now whenever I listen to those songs I get reminded of those happy memories. Although I do have to admit that I couldn't listen to that band for a while because I honestly got really sick of them. That's a really important thing to remember when listening to music: don't over listen!!  You can get sick of even your favorite song, band, playlist, or album. One of my favorite songs ever is One More Light by Linkin Park but I can't even listen to that too much or I will get sick of it. I am still recovering from that vacation when I only listened to those two albums. Anyway, I hope this summer playlist can help you to be reminded of summer whenever you listen to it. On a quick note, I think we can all agree that summer

14 Things to do when You're Bored to Death

Image
I don't know if it's just me but I can get SO bored in the summer. This post is gonna be more for myself than my readers because I need to stay productive this summer! If you have more ideas on how to stay productive this summer please comment below! Here we go: 1.  Write/Draw Something   -Doing something creative can be so fulfilling sometimes. Even if you cannot draw very well like me you can still write a story, poem, or even a song. Another option is to   start a blog   like I did. The best part of starting a blog is that you write whenever/whatever you want, it's outside or school, it is not required, and you don't have a due date hanging over your head. You can also write an email (or actual letter) to someone you haven't seen in a while.  2. Read a book  -Reading is one of the greatest pleasures in life that we don't have time to do during the school year. See my summer reading list post if you run out of books to read!  3. Bake som

Capsule Wardrobe for Summer

Image
To buy or not to buy? That is the question. What clothes in your closet do you need ? I will tell you. This is my post on building and maintaining your stylish wardrobe. Now it will be for a summer wardrobe only, but when fall comes I will try to remember to post a fall wardrobe one.  So first I am gonna list summer articles of clothing and accessories then we will discuss how many of each you need.  Shorts Shirts Pants Dresses Skirts Bathing Suits Cardigans  Hats Sunglasses Romper  Sweatshirts/Jackets How many of each do you need? Well the first thing you wanna ask yourself is where do you go when you leave the house? Do you go to the pool, school, work, church, parties, or other activities?  If you go to work do you have a uniform? How old are you? So for me, I don't need that many clothes, because I can wear most of my clothes in my closet everywhere I go. So for my purposes I only need the following: Shorts 4-5 Shirts 5-10 Pants 2-3 Dresses 4-7

Happy Mother's Day!

So I love my mom so much! Happy Mother's Day mom!!! But this is actually gonna be a post about Mary our mother in Heaven. I love hearing stories of saints whose moms weren't alive so they asked Mary to be their mother... How awesome is that? I know a lot of people think we worship Mary, but we actually venerate her or honor her. So when you want someone to do something for you who will you ask to get it done? Thier mom. Moms are so important to everyone and they literally can help you with everything. And everyone has a special place in their heart for their moms. That is why Mary is the best person ask to pray for you or for stuff. Whenever you are asking God for something like "hey God please help me to do well on my exams!" just also say "hey Mary ask God to do that for me". So easy, yet so effective.  I once heard from someone this awesome fact about Mary: So in the stations of the cross, one of the first stations is Jesus meets his mother. So
